SHAREit app review
For your information, SHAREit for Android can do its core feature of transferring files between two devices without using cloud storage. There are no certain required platforms to share the files through the app. It only can function with any devices in which it is already installed. The data transfer can be done with up to five devices. When the app is connected to the devices, the sending and receiving data process can be performed. There is also a good chance to clone a device and send the files to it. As alternative app we can install xender app.
In addition, this app is multiplatform, but this characteristic is what may cause some issues for this app. The issues are triggered by troubleshoot connection that takes place on the different devices. Since Wi-Fi connection and Bluetooth are not required, the app should create a direct connection to the device which the hotspot is connected to. In some cases, this app is also buggy. There are times when it gets the freeze when conducting the data sending or receiving process that it needs to be restarted before the app works properly.
Moreover, it does a really good job when it works normally. The speed during data transfer is fast but sometimes frozen. There has been a major problem when the transfer is finished, but the wireless is automatically disabled by the app itself that leads to restarting to the original connection. In other word, this app is not really efficient. Let’s check some of the pros and cons.
- Free app
- Fast performance
How to Use
After the installation is finished, select the file of the app in file manager and set it as the default mode when it comes to send the files in your devices. Open the app when you are about to do the data transfer. Moreover, tap on the send button and file manager will automatically be opened then you can choose the files such as contacts, photos, music, apps, videos, and many more. If you need to get extra speed during the transfer process, Wi-Fi will automatically be turned on by the application and turned off by itself when the process of transferring data is finished. The receivers should have the same application, regardless of the version. If they do not have one on their devices, you can send this app via Bluetooth.
- The sender and receiver pages have been redesigned to be more user-friendly!
- Optimized playback experience.
