If you have been familiar with the logo and concept of this app, getting started with it will be quite easy. However, there will be some different elements and details. For a starter, instead of the usual green logo, there will be the logo plus the word B in the middle. Second, since the app is designed for business, the most common features would include Analytics, Auto Responses, Chat Migration, and Business Profile. If you have a business, you will need to have a verified business account to prove yourself as a legit establishment. For personal purpose we can use facebook messenger app or whatsapp but for business purpose we can use this app.

If you come to Setting section, you should be able to see two new features for Statistics and Business Setting. But the real gem is about the section ‘Edit Business Profile’ because you can include the most important information about your business, like category, location, website address (URL), business description, and email address. There is even preview feature so you can preview what your profile looks like from your clients’ point of view. It is only available on Business version and not available on WhatsApp regular version. So, if you need those feature you can use Business app.

Another thing to like about this WhatsApp Business for Android is the feature Away Message. You see, when you aren’t available and yet your client send you messages, this feature will send auto respond answers. Later, when you are available, you can contact them to have further discussion. This is pretty handy because it still makes you look professional and not completely abandoning your clients. This feature can be activated all of the times and applied for all messages. However, you can also set up a specific time or date.

Pros:

• Editing the profile is easy and hassle free.
• You can include more than one website addresses.
• The Away Message feature is handy and there is no limit to what you can do about it.
• There are many handy features to make operation easier.

Cons:

• The Statistics section doesn’t have much usage as it only shows the numbers of sent messages, delivered messages, read messages, and received messages. Forget the idea of using this feature for business analysis.
• It hasn’t been clear how a business can be verified, so it can have the tick icon.
