To use activity tracker and sleep monitoring features in Xiaomi Band, you will need Mi Fit app that is installed in smart phone and Mi account. If you don’t have Mi account yet, sign up and activate it first. It can be done through this app. It needs at least Android 4.4 (Kitkat) as a minimum OS. After the app is installed, the first thing to do is to connect Xiaomi Mi Band to Mi Fit. One device can be connected to one Mi account only.
This app will show all detail information of your activities recorded by Mi Band. The information includes burned calories, mileage, sleep quality, and heartbeat. Even if you have a Xiaomi smart scale, you can connect it to your smart phone through this app. Your weight will be automatically noted in this app. Through this app, the users are also allowed to set the target or goal of activities or number of steps to achieve every day.
